Solution Technical Manager
--------------------------------------------

Provide strong technical leadership in the area of solution development and open architecture. Candidate must have experience leading and developing 'enterprise' level solutions including SDK and API development. Development skills must also include software architecture development, demonstrated use of UML and OOA as well as strong code development skills.

Communication is a key aspect of the job and the candidate must have experience working with other companies or overseas operations. Demonstrated examples of communication skills include mentoring ability, clear ability to communicate and solve problems, and including very strong design documentation skills.

Solution development also requires strong skills in the area of requirement development. The candidate will need to be able to take abstract marketing concepts and develop clear product requirements. Current experience should also provide the ability to suggest new creative features and develop plans based on high level strategic input.

Fundamental project scheduling skills, tracking and risk analysis are also required. Job requires a bachelor's degree or higher and at least eight years of related experience is required, or 6 years experience with MS.

Identification of new solution opportunities, especially in new areas such as security and mobile computing is high priority. Candidate should understand overall design process and demonstrated use of UML and OOA as well as strong code development skills.

Communication is a key aspect of the job and the candidate must have experience working with other companies or remote teams. Demonstrated examples of communication skills include, clear ability to communicate and solve problems, and very strong design documentation skills.

Solution development also requires strong skills in the area of requirement development. The candidate will need to be able to take solution requirements and develop clear product requirements, software and embedded software requirements. Current experience should also provide the ability to suggest new creative features and develop alternative development options.

System Engineer

Provide strong technical leadership in the area of systems engineering. This position will provide excellent growth and visibility with the program teams in Korea, as well as an opportunity to fully define the role in our organization Candidate must have experience leading and developing 'enterprise' level MFP products and solutions. Development skills must also include software architecture development, demonstrated use of UML and OOA as well as strong code development skills, as well as an understanding of the hardware and effective and efficient balance between software, controller and engine.

Communication is a key aspect of the job and the candidate must have experience working with other companies or overseas operations. Demonstrated examples of communication skills include mentoring ability, clear ability to communicate and solve problems, and including very strong design documentation skills.

System Engineering also requires strong skills in the area of requirement development. The candidate will need to be able to take abstract marketing concepts and develop clear product requirements. Current experience should also provide the ability to suggest new creative features and develop plans based on high level strategic input. Product performance is a key competitive feature. The systems engineering will devise concepts to optimize performance and cost as well as identify bottlenecks in the system.

Fundamental project scheduling skills, tracking and risk analysis are also required. Job requires a bachelor's degree or higher and at least eight years of related experience developing MFP (printers) for tier one printing and imaging companies required. Highlights of key skills are below:

· Excellent Communication Skills and Tools
· Reduction of Marketing and Engineering requirements to Functional specifications for use by HW and SW developers.
· Analyze new customer requirements and determine engineering viability, implementation costs and schedule impact.
· Performance analysis of embedded controllers as affected by: data transfer rates, bus contention, processor speed, memory speed, software efficiency.
· Knowledge of common printer and MFP features and their impact on implementation and performance (e.g. electronic collation, MFP job concurrency and priority, Fax, use of hard disk)
· Knowledge of Network management enablement (e.g. SNMP, internal Web servers, User Interface implications).
· Knowledge of PDL's (e.g. Postscript, PCL-5e, PCL6) and associated fonts. Ability to analyze performance impact of various PDL features.
· Understanding of Document Workflow Solutions, and experience defining key interface requirements.
· Experience developing User Interface Requirements and an understanding of customer expectations.



Software Architecture

The successful candidate will play a key role in the development of the software architecture for embedded software systems targeted for the SOHO and Office segments of digital copiers and multifunctional devices. The role will involve the active development of software architecture, including the use of Unified Modeling Language (UML).

The position requires a BS in EE, CS, or equivalent, with 5-10 years related experience developing multifunction printing devices. Candidate should have the following characteristics:

· Experience with software architecture methodologies and tools
· Experience with UML and UML tools
· Experience with architectures of embedded controllers for printers and multi-function devices
· Knowledge of data flow for scan to print, scan to email, scan to file, scan to fax
· Multi-job control, job interruption and job contention management for printing and multi-function devices
· Understanding of image processing requirements for color and monochrome scanner devices
· Experience with real-time software design, real-time OS (e.g., VxWorks), and real-time development environments
· Strong skills in both high and low level design.
