With Digital world working round the clock, we are bound to see some great products every now and then, but this one from Sony is just totally out of this world and light years ahead of alternative formatting technologies such as HDD and Flash. Sony today announced the latest addition to its family of Hi-MD Walkman digital music players, the absolute sleek and slimline Sony MZ-RH1. Well, music lovers now can enjoy unprecedented CD-quality sound where ever they are.

The Sony MZ-RH1 is a digital audio player where users can play files downloaded in Linear PCM, ATRAC (ATRAC, ATRAC3, ATRAC3plus) or MP3 formats, or which have been recorded onto the device from a live music session. The linear PCM (sampling frequency 44.1kHz/ quantization bit several 16bit) treble quality sound recording with system is possible. In addition the player is powered by an HD-Amplifier, making sure for a flawless sound quality. The Sony MZ-RH1 also features different listening modes to complement musical genres and create the right acoustic atmosphere, including Club, Jazz and Pop.

Probably the best thing about the player is the recording function. The treble quality which is equal to the CD (sampling frequency 44.1kHz/ quantization bit several 16bit) with it corresponds to the audio type * linear PCM system which can be recorded. Users can adjust the mode to reflect what they are recording, which could be a live event, their own ‘jam’ session, or even a business meeting - creating crystal clear playback sound. Hi-MD uses the uncompressed LinearPCM format so music can be recorded and played back with the same sound quality as the original source.

In addition there is an an external storage of the personal computer enabled, Correspondence (at the time of substance operation you cannot use for either the power source supply charge with USB bus power) and ofcourse last but not the least, the Hi-Speed USB2.0 correspondence. The Sony MZ-RH1 will be available from May 2006 across Europe for about 350$ USD.
