Southwest Vacations (in conjunction with Southwest Airlines) has some enticing Las Vegas vacation packages including RT air + 2 nights in the $200 range, depending on location. Hotels range from Circus Circus on the low end, up to resorts such as the MGM Grand or Wynn Las Vegas. Monday-Tuesday departures only.

stay away from Circus circus. Their quality is so bad now....Since they're design for family, and there're so many kids at the hotel -> dirty & smelly. Their parking garage is also terrible..

Thanks for all the recommendation. I just booked the MGM Grand hotel. They're having a special deal, but I don't know how far is from the hotel to all the attraction and showtime areas. I also heard they have chinatown and vietnamesetown as well.

MGM is right on the strip....To get to other hotels, you need a car or you could use monorail ($3, I think) right next to MGM hotel.

Chinatown is on Mountain Spring road, but if this is your first time in LV, then don't bother to go there. Just eat buffet til you couldn't eat anymore. LV Chinatown can't compare to Monterey Park, Alhambra restaurant.

You should go to Bellagio, Venetian, Ceasar, Wynn, ... for the view. For buffet, I would recommend Rio (seafood or normal), Paris (French). But if you stay at MGM, they might give you coupon for buffet (1/2 off). Their food is not bad.

Thanks steveh for your information. I also want to go to Orange County where all the vietnamese and stay there for 2/3 days. Any recommend of where to stay, where to go, what to do, and good restaurants there.

Humm, I think you can find cheaper hotel which surround Disneyland (South Harbor Blvd, but belong to Garden Grove city). It takes about 10-15 minutes driving to Little Saigon.
For things to do, what to eat??? We already posted some topics already, just do some search...
