how do you format hard drive?

I'm curretly using XP. I don't have the boost disk for XP.
I want to format the whole hard drive so I can reinstall windows 98.

Use win98 start up disk, most the time I formatted win2k or xp, I used win98 start up disk, goodluck :)

you can use any boot disk... 95, 98 or ME
