I'm looking for an AWD car. I heard this is a good choice. Does anyone have any input? Thanks:happy:

the Infiniti G35 is a good car already. I dont think you need AWD unless you're in the north pole. Adding that option ain't gonna help you with anything if you drive on normal road condition.

Why don't you go to their website, info about this car is all on there. Besides, there are quite number of AWD sport cars elsewhere, not only Infinity

The rear-wheel drive G35 is also offered with a state-of-the-art "intelligent" all-wheel drive system. The G35x AWD model features Infiniti’s ATTESA E-TS (Advanced Total Traction Engineering System for All Electronic Torque Split) all-wheel drive system is also utilized on the M35x and FX. The system utilizes an active torque distribution management system with an active center clutch designed for smooth starts and better traction and maneuverability on snowy roads than conventional all-wheel drive systems, and minimal compromise of rear-wheel drive performance characteristics on dry roads.

All 2007 G35s, rear-wheel and all-wheel drive, come with Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), helping to enhance vehicle stability under a variety of driving conditions, while Viscous Limited Slip Differential (VLSD) is standard on Sport models.

The G’s braking system utilizes power-assisted 4-wheel vented disc brakes with 4-channel, 4-sensor Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA

Nissan awd is quite unique from others awd. All of the nissan awd is base on the GT-R itself, GT-R is world wide famous for it awd system and it engine.

Can you name some factors of why you want 4wd? unless you live up north or something but if 4wd is something that you only want and not need may i suggest to you 350z? if back seats are also not a requirement for you that is.

I have also been thinking about getting an AWD or a 4x4...
I've looked at subaru, but they seem to get mixed review.... wrx seems like a nice car to drive (but insurance is >.<)... does anyone have any experience with WRX?

thx

4WD and AWD is almost the same except:
4WD is manual ... it's up to U to shift it.
AWD is auto ... it's controlled by computer.
It's like manual trans vs auto trans.
U can only find AWD in cars or SUVs ... hardly in trucks.
I may be wrong but I believe that the 4WD (manual) gives out lots more torque using for pulling and climbing high mountain ...

I am not so sure but I don't think that 4WD gives you mor torque or anything. With a 4WD you need a transfer case and it should eat up some power due to cranking and stuff. 4WD and AWD are only good for gaining traction.

hơi bị sai bro Cold... anh mình có Highlander đề rỏ ràng là 4WD, nhưng nó hoàn toàn Automatic như xe car bình thường, không có Shift chi hết...

my lexus gx470 is 4wd and its an auto. Sedans usually come with awd and its not selective. Kinda like a safety feature but i don't think thats the case with subaru. and i've seen awd sedans with mt.
