just got a accident today.

air bags came off, front right conner bumper damaged, because the street was slippery, only my car got accident, no injuries or other cars involved . I can't open the passenger door, but it still run and i can able to drive it on local street only. How much insurance cost will raise after this accident? I was driving my dad's car (toyota camry 97).

Can i do total loss ? or just repair ?
I know this will go to my dad's record, just curiosity, is there anyway to put this accident to my record ? I have car insurances but difference company.

It depends on what your dad's insurance record looks like.
If your Dad has insurance with them for few years with no claim, they might let this one slide (confirm it with the agent).

Get a couple estimates. If the loss is 75% or more the car's value, then the answer "maybe" yes.

i'm in MN. My agent sucks, i called him 2 times the day i got accident to get the claim #, but the 3rd time he hung up on me, and he is white ;).

My dad had couple claim about hail damages otherwise no accident or any ticket before. By the way, his insurance company is american family.

Jessica, I live in MN too. I got 1 accident and 1 speeding ticket last year :P
The insurance company sure know all about them but my insurance rate only went up $15/month.

YES
The same goes to claim.
Lots of Vnese people have some wrong idea that if U claim a lesser amount (ex, $5k instead of $10K), insurance company will let U slide.
Once U make a claim, U might as well to take to the max the law allows (U can double check with agent/attorney).
