Honda accord 2002 transmission

I have a honda accord 2002 v6 and having some problem with the transmission. the gas pedal is really stiff. and the gears jerks and shift when take off. the rpm went > 3000 then jerks then shift gear. Does anybody knows what's wrong ?

Did U buy the car new?
How many miles on it now?
When was the last time U changed transmission oil?
Did this car has some front-end accident?

First, the gas pedal should never be stiff. There could be something make it stuck.
If your car is auto, then it is a time to change the whole transmisstion box. Anyways, it never happen to a manual car.

basic warranty is 5yrs/60000 but you should check your dealer because Accord v6 transmission model year 2002 to 2005 they have some problem with a batch of cars and might be extended to 7yrs/100000. if your car is more than 100K then you're out of luck! transmission job could cost from 3K to 5K in extreme case.

I would fist check the cable linkage and see if there is any adjustment needed the go from there.

already checked the cable linkage. I'm taking it to the dealer.

Check's on side transmission have little core look like starter, may be that make transmission stiff.
