I have 01 Corolla. It will work only If your Camry factory CD player has CD changer control in the rear (most have). That is where the adaptor connects to.

The adaptor came today, it took me about 1 hour to install and test. My ipod plays and sounds pretty nice thru the car system, as good as playing CD. I connect 2 cables to the adaptor: 1 comes with the adaptor to play while charging the ipod and an optional $2 male to male 3.5mm, plug to ipod earphone jack without charging.
