in win98, just click cancel. then go into the c:\windows and look for the file *.pwl delete that file and restart your windows. The log on will ask you to type in the name and new password. Just type in the name, leave password blank so that you don't have to type in password everytime.
There is a program that let you see all the password, windows, internet, etc... in win98. I used to have it, but now I can't find it, maybe I delete it already. Sorry.
