....cause i got a sparc box at work w/ solaris 9. Now i want to get the same stuffs like that at home on my spare box. I do run BSD & LINUX for fun.

N/M about the request...because Solaris 9 is not out til january..hehehe...i just asked sun folks ;)..hehe...sorry for early request :)heheh:15:

hehe ... we have two sparc boxes at work.. running on redhat :p.

i thought Sun will not release an x86 Solaris 9, it will be for Sparc only and it's on DVD?

correct me if i am wrong.

nah...they change their mind at last minutes....they said that in april, but they change it somewhere last month.

I'm not sure about the X86, but as far as the Sparc is concern, it comes on a single DVd or 2 Cd disks.
