Insure your car w/ AK-47, UZi or AR-15 is better than any alarm.
You are better off with the shop since they will likely charge you less for the alarm and installation.
Installation is not too hard if you have done it before and have a complete electrical diagrams.
Good luck,

directed electronics ( viper, python, or sidewinder) is really good

well i do have a garage but it is soo hard to get out..well i can get it out fine but my sis cant...:D :D
Roughly $220 the shop will install for you a decent one with
ignition cut off, remote lock/unlock car door. Self install could take a whole day + headache unless you know about electronics otherwise it's not easy.

wat mean ignition cut off??? wat's that??so about 220 i could get a viper plus installation pretty decent... oh does it have a starter?? or it count as additional part??
Ignition cut off means can't start engine if the alarm is not disarmed. With that price range most of the time remote starter is optional.
