help help!! some program is destroying my computer

ok! well theres this program called csrss.exe that makes random advertisement popups on my computer! how do i disable it from starting up? i cannot find it when i type in msconfig in the RUN box..

also, whent he ads pop up, they are called "messanger service"


pelase help me get rid of them!

i also began getting them when i dled a virus, but i reformatted my computer, but the ads are still there! please help!

or how would i disable it from EVER running? thanks

that is not a program, but it is popup from the remote server, that someone sending the ads.

it happen only with winxp, if you want to stop it, then you have to install one of the firewall software or popup stoper software. I am using the zonealarm.


it not help you by reformat you computer, because there are no program that install in you computer, it is from remote server .

you can install zonealarm it will stop the messenger services, but it will not stop all the popup that came from the website.

to stop those all you need is go to RUN type in services.msc then a window open and look for Messenger and stop it and disable it and you will never see those again! only winxp user!
