Clarion to launch PC for car Dec. 1
Nov. 25 TOKYO, Japan - Clarion Co. said Nov. 25 it will launch a car-mounted personal computer (PC) system, CADIAS, on the domestic market Dec. 1. The product is based on Windows CE for Automotives and incorporates a car navigation system, car stereo and DVD player. The PC can be connected to the Internet via mobile phones or personal handy phone systems, enabling a driver to download maps and traffic information while operating the car, the company said.
