Go to edmunds.com to check out the price of the car.
What I'd do too is to get the e-mail addresses of all the Honda dealerships in your areas (may be a little further out too,) and send them an e-mail asking for their quotes on the car. You'll need to be very specific. For example, 2004 Accord Coupe EX-V6, Yellow, black leather, CD/MP3, fog lights, etc. You might need to go to the Honda site to find out all the models and options that are available.
Once you get the replied e-mail from some of them, print it out and try to call the ones that haven't responded. Try to get the price lower than what the e-mail offered. Or you can call the dealer that responded and give a lower offer. Play one dealer against the other.
Here's a good site to learn how to buy a new car (http://www.carbuyingtips.com/carintro.html). I found it useful to read through that site before visiting the dealer. Good luck.

go to kbb.com and look at the specs. prices dont really matter. trust me i just bought the car. the lower i got the car the higher they sed my apr was. u know wat i mean so there's never a time where u actually can win from them. let's say they sell u the car for the invoice price they gonna try and say ur credit is bad or ur debt to ratio or they just bs wit u. and jus to let u know v6 costs a lot more than the crv. bout 4000 more.

You can go to different banks and ask for a apr rate. for an example: go to the credit union...u dont have to get their apr.

Won't work on me!. This is how i buy car. I do research on KKB, Edmunds, etc and find what i want and calculate the fair deal so they make $$$ and i get good deal. I email dealers around my area and tell them give me the best price, then i tell i'd pay only that amount +TTL nothing else, no document fees, no administration fees or whatever fees they make up and will be cash deal and i don't go into dealer just deal over emails, if they agree then i come to sign paper work and insteads of cash deal i got 1.9 % for 5 yrs but because i don't want them get my $ that way so i go only for 2 and put down 50%. Don't ever give them your driver license or SSN while u deal w/ deal and don't go to dealer, and when get it there be nice but firm because when u r in there they will say, they could not make a living for selling w/ that price, blah blah..., just tell them either that or none and be prepare to leave, be firm but nice, just my experience.
