The Citroën C3 has won the World Car Award at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show. The prize is awarded by a panel of thirty motoring journalists from around the world, and it was accepted for Citroën by Vincent Besson, Head of Products and Markets. Citroën says that the prize is considered to be prestigious because it is based on criteria relating to technology, the environment, international safety standards, their design and production quality.
