whats the worse that could happen if i accidentally put diesel fuel into my honda accord?

It's depend ...when you put it in did you drive afterward ?? If you did you need to go clean out or change the following items:
1. clean out your gas tank completely flush.
2. change out your fuel pump (in the gas tank) and fuel filters (2).
3. flush/clean out your fuel injectors.

After all that changed, once you have everything back in, fill upi your car with supreme gas (93 octane) and RUN it all day long til the quarter of the gas tank left. And hopefully that going to fix it for ya.
**warning - first time you run after changed, the car going to produce alot of smoke for few hours.

My mom put diesel in her Odyssey a few years back. It cost us around $1200 i think to get it clean out by the dealer.

dang what a rip off dealer ship, dealership always over charge.
