i know you guys had a conversation about this car's look a while back.
but this question is regarding the stereo system. the car was shut down. now it is running, but the cd player won't play. IS there a way to reset the sound system? (this is not my car so im not really sure what the problem is...)
thanks!

also, how much would it cost to buy and install a brand new door (driver side)? got one estimate around 750 for the parts.

is it a stock stereo? if so, then you probably have one of those radio that has anti-theft feature... it'll automatically become unuseable if the battery had been disconnected... and it'll work again after you enter a code for it. the owner's manual may show you how to get it playing again...
if it's not the anti-theft thing... then i'm clueless...
...about your door... no idea
-good luck

Not sure about Corolla 03 S, but I have a CE type, but it doesn't have an anti-theft feature. I don't see it mention in the manual for the S type either, so I don't know....

For the door, I don't know either

Did you mean the stereo had power but could not play cd?
Your car did not operate for awhile due to what reason?
If the car did not have any power before now it does then check the stereo fuses first, after that if there's power on stereo but cd does not play it means your cd player broke. If repair cd costs more than $100 I would be better off buying new cd player with mp3 cost about $200 installed.
