Acura vs. Infinity?

Between Acura products and Infinity products, which one should we choose?

Acura MDX engine is made by Super Trooper engine, Isuzu engine so I recomend you go for infinity.

Infinity is Nissan luxury division as many of you know, Infinity line up of course better than Nissan line up.

Acura MDX engine is made by Super Trooper engine, Isuzu engine so I recomend you go for infinity.

I believe you talk about the SLX Vietboy19, Honda make MDX now and this is there first time to doing so.

Even the saturn VUE got the 3.5L 240 HP from honda... That engine are populare on Honda van, Pilot and DMX....

True but nissan n infinity suv you have the same engine. the infinity is better because of the name but the engine is the same like nissan 350zx and G35 both have some engine but again Nissan 350zx is design for performance so its faster than the G35.

Of course Infinity, Acura sedan and coupe like RSX, TSX, TL, RL all front wheel drive, accept the NSX but NSX price is above 80 grands and that is way above for Acura which a Honda division , what the hell people in Acura thinking, 270 hp front wheel drive for TL, that insane, and stupid, Infinity G35, M45, Q45 all rear wheel drive and except I45, RSX in Acura don't have HID as stand or optional
All Infinity sedan and coupe like I45, G35, M45, Q45, all have HID as standard, except Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Base model that don't have as standard. HID is one on the list must have when consider luxury car, RSX should not consider luxury car, it should wear Honda badge and consider consumer coupe

First, there are MARKETTING issues here. I believe Acura out-sold Infinity in number of sales. There are not a big market for Rear wheel drive car in SNOWY states but people in Sun Shine states CAN still by FWD cars.

For $20,000 car and you're looking for all all luxury stuffs????Get a KIA or HUYNDAI. :hammer: :hammer:

Well here my 2 cent on the issues.... It just happen that I've been doing some research on car lately since I am considering buying one of these soon.. From what I've gathered Infiniti/Nissan has better speed in term of acceleration, use better material i.e. leather and sound system, overall design seem to be better looking however the reliability is an issue (this is from friends experiences - expenses on maintenant and fixing is higher). Also use more gas and rear wheel drive is becoming particular these days as to resale. On the Acura/Honda side you have better engine design in term of reliability use less gas (also the new Hybrid accord is coming out) and resale is always good. But the car's features is cheaper in term of design and material use for the car.
Conclusion if you want performance get a Infiniti/Nissan but if you want reliability get a Accura/Honda. I am not saying the nissan wouldn't last for 10 yrs or so that's all depend on how the owner taking care of the car. Its just the cost of maintenant is higher and more frequent. As same goes for Accura/Honda, you can easily get it to go faster. Anyway that's my take ... And yes I decide to get the Hybrid Accord when it come out end of this year unless the TL has hybrid version ...heheheh

In 2005 or 06 Altima when come with hybrid system on it, Nissan Safari V8, and it Alphard currently sale in Japan it too also equiped with hybrid system, more models will be release next year. Nissan have it all not just performance but the reliability as well. Don't just listen to some people and come with a conclusion but listen to all.

Trước giờ tui vẫn nghĩ xe Honda/Acura là bền hơn xe Nissan/Infinity. Cái chuyện bên hơn hay không thì phải có 2 chiếc cùng 1 lúc rồi mới so sánh. Tui chưa có diễm phúc đó :)
Thường thì khuyết điểm của xe Nissan/Infinity là tốn xăng hơn xe Honda, cái này có thể lý giải được là do nòng xy-lanh lớn hơn nhiều, và nếu nòng lớn hơn nhiều thì công suất mạnh hơn cũng là chuyện đương nhiên. Cho nên vấn đề này tui thấy 2 bên cân bằng. Về phần độ tăng tốc thì dường như xe Nissan hơn hẳn xe Honda.
Về phần thiết kế nội thất và chât lượng sản phẩm, thì có người nói là xe Nissan hơn chắc, tui chưa có diễm phúc ngồi lên nên hông biết nó hơn chỗ nào :)
Khi mình nói là xe bền, xe tốt thường mình đề cập đến sự hư hao của nó, xe nào ít phải bỏ tiền ra để sữa chữa, thì xe đó được gọi là ít tốn kém hơn. Giữa 2 xe đó thì xe nào phải cần tu sữa nhiều hơn?
Còn cái nữa là nhiều người nói rằng xe chạy cầu sau (RWD) thì "ngon" hơn xe chạy cầu trước (FWD), tại sao? Theo tui thì cái lợi điểm của cầu sau là công suất mạnh, nhưng nếu như cả 2 xe có cùng một số mã lực thì xe chạy cầu trước sẽ vượt trội tại vì nó chạy an toàn trên vùng trơn trợt. Nói chung là xe cầu trước, điều khiển an toàn trên mọi địa hình. Tui nghĩ vậy, các bạn có cao kiến gì không?
Và một cái cuối là, cho là xe Nissan/Infinity mạnh hơn, tốt hơn, bền hơn, dùng đồ xịn hơn, vậy tại sao lại tiêu thụ ít hơn xe Honda/Acura trong khi giá cả ngang bằng?

Thanks for your opinion bro.. but these people are also my friends, acquaintance, and co-workers. So like I said that is my personal observation on these two car maker..

Theo riêng tui thì nếu mỗi hãng xe đều tung ra thị trường những chiếc xe tương đương nhau thì chúng ta không có nhiều nhà sản xuất xe như hiện nay .

Ví dụ như giữa Camry và Accord. Là 2 đối thủ một 9 một 10 với nhau ở ngoài thị trường

Thì Accord dzọt hơn vì Accord nhẹ hơn . (Fun to drive)
Còn Camry thì không dzọt bằng nhưng êm và ít ồn hơn ngồi trong Accord (Enjoying)

Sum up, Camry đánh vào những khách hàng đằm tánh hơn (có thể nói già tuổi hơn) đó cũng là lí do tại sao kiểu xe camry đa số nhìn già dặn "conservative" hơn kiểu dáng của Accord.

Khó có thể nào khẳng định chiếc nào hơn trội chiếc nào, và cũng không ai ngu hơn ai :)
Chỉ vì mỗi người có một sở thích riêng giống như Mễ thích beans và Asian thích gạo :)

Độ bền của 1 chiếc xe tùy thuộc vào hãng chế tạo xe nhưng phụ thuộc lớn nhất vẫn là cách sử dụng và bảo trì chiếc xe . (nếu giữa 2 hãng xe có độ bền tương đương nhau, thì cách bảo trì chiếc xe nắm phần chủ chốt cho độ bền của nó )

Nếu bạn chọn 1 chiếc mạnh, good handling, thì bạn cũng nên dự trù khoảng tiền chi ra cho việc bảo trì chúng .

Còn việc xe chạy bánh trước hay sau thì depend on driving style and road condition :)

Đường núi, dốc, quẹo nhiều, Front wheel drive !
Thẳng, muốn chạy driff thì rear (và dĩ nhiên rear wheel drive có thể làm nhiều tricks hơn front **ex: do donuts , and driff on curves**)

Good Point There but Nissan/Infinity cost way more than Honda/Acura. Nissan used to have problem with electrical but now they have improve on the design on that n they have made it better. Honda/Acura always have distributor problem. Because I have work on them so many times so I know. Nissan/Infinity is very reliable now. For the price if you compare the price with honda to nissan. I think nissan cost more like the Altima, Maxima and 350zx they cost more than accord, prelude, and civic. Honda is made for midrange price like for a ok price and you have good car to drive that's all.
