Muscles Aching ? This exotic treatment is just what the trainer ordered.
Need an incentive to get through your workout?. How about a post exercise reward? For centuries, Thais have turned to ginger for its healing properties. Taken orally, it can help relieve an upset stomach; applied topically, it relaxes weary muscles.

Treat your body to this couldn't be-easier scrub from the Banyan Tree Spa in Phuket, Thailand. "The ginger's warmth penetrates the skin to relieve aches, while the rice exforliates, " says Chami Jotisalikorn, author of Thai Spa Book: The Natural Asian Way to Health and Beauty.

ingredients
- 4 tablespoons powdered ginger ( available in the spice sections of most supermarkets )
- 4 tablespoons uncooked rice
- Warm water

Here's show to indulge:
- In a small bowl, mix the ginger and the rice.
- Add enough water to give the mixture a pastelike consistency.
- Rub with warm water, and slather on a rich body lotion.
