what is your best sport car among these choices

aznblood is planning to get a car, interestly enough, the prices for all the 2-seated cars from all MAKE Brands are comparible.

Which of the following car do you like the most:
a) Lexus SC400
b) Mercedes SLK230
c) Porche Boxster
d) Honda S2000

If the price for these cars are all the same then there is a big differences in the model year and the condition of each cars. If the prices you are looking to pay for is in the low or mid $20K, then I would choose the SC400 for its value. You will pay alot on maintenance for the SLK and Boxter (based on theirs being the same price range as the other two). For the sheer joy of riding around town, the S2000 would do. If you are looking for speed, Boxter would be it. But there are other choices that may be more interesting. Good luck.

Boxster is about below 60K and about 260HP.
SLK230 is the weakest, below 200HP and costs roughly 40K.
S2000 is in the different league, costs just more than 30K, with 200+ HP.

Am I wrong here?

Yeah, maybe you are. He said for the comparable price range so those cars will have DIFFERENCE year and condition. Example, he can buy a new S2000 ($32K) or a 3-4 year-old Lexus with the same price.

I lean more to the lexus since I like its quality built.

Lexus SC430, I think it only for about 2-4 years old, so when you chose the vehicle, if it the same price, it will be a better choice, since S2000 is too noisy once the engine rev..

The cars listed are the best candidates from all popular make models.
It seems like most people are in favor of the Lexus. Here is my humble opinion:

a) Lexus SC400 - neat and powerful, for people of age 27+
b) Mercedes SLK230 - Classic, classy, automatic hard cover convertible system (good ride, not vibration), engine not powerful compare to the others,
c) Porche Boxster - same body as the 60+k Porche Carrera, girls like the look,
d) Honda S2000 - Small, light weight, areodynamics body, reliable, cheap for maintenance, ideal for additional modification, most efficient engine among the choices.

What do you think?

a) lexus SC400 = beautiful and powerful...but not as prestice as Mercedes because of the "japanese" name brand and not "German" !!!
b) Mercedes SLK230 = if you want a real German sport car, then this is not for u !!!
c) Porsche Boxter = people that can't really effort a "real" Porsche but still want a car w/ that brand name !!!
d) Honda S2000 = it's a Honda what more do I have to say !!!
