I have a friend bought a 2004 Toy 4 runner about 8 months ago for around 27 k to 28 k. I just bargain with the dealer for the same one for $26.5 K (drive out) This time is almost end of 2004. BTW, the one I am looking for is Sport Edition. Please advice me the good price to buy it if you happen to know that. Thanks guys

as alway, you can go to www.edmunds.com to check out the discount information at your location. They should have information about rebate and other discount.

4x4 is gonna be more expensive. I'm just looking for the one 4x2. I'm dealing 27k (drive out) now. Will let you know if they can do it.

For the 4x4 version, it's closer to $30K. Bodee: that prices sounds very good.

27k, that's pretty low price for 4 runner Sport Ed 4x2. They don't want to sell it. But it's ok, I'll wait couple of months later. They will sell it :)

There are not much diffs. between the SE and SR5 beside bigger rims and they added X-REAS. Edmunds give SE 4x4 v6 for $27,400 and SR5 for $26,382. Is it worthy to get the SE instead of SR5?

Yep, those prices before taxes. I still like SE because it looks nicer.

Depending on what you like but for me...it's a go go for sport edition. One thing to notice, you will sacrifice the audio system for the X-REAS feature.

Go with 4WD...or else, you will regret IMHO.

SE has color-key rear outside mirrors (match with the body of the vehicle, not Black like SR5), Silver Roof rack (not black), nicer wheels, sunroof (standard), X-REAS suspension (standard), hood scoop and all other goodies which are options on SR5 or even Limited edition.

I'll go with the SE 4WD (Since I own one now).

i really wanna those 4x4. Even though we don't go skiing often...but it's well worthy every time we go on snowy road.....since no chain needed for 4x4.
