this semester i took public speakin class, and the teacher want us to pick 1 topic to teach or show the class how to it or how to get it done. i have to give the speech for 5 mins.

by the way i know a little bit about this already, cause i did installed my stereo into my car before. now i just need to know the name of the wire, and get more ideal.

so can u guys give me instruction how to install cd player into the car? for example which wire connect to which wire, and name of the wires, and what is tool we need to get it done.

Generic car stereo system has 8 speakers wires, 1 always-on power (for memory), 1 switched-on-ignition power, 1 ground, 1 power antenna wire. The optional wires are 1 telephone mute, sub power-on, etc.

Needed tools are phillips screw driver, pair of pliers, wire stripper/cutter, connectors, soldering stuffs (if you cut away the manufacturer harness).

Basic installing steps:
1. take out the faceplate console (consult user's manual since depending on model)
2. take out the old stereo system
3. insert after marking wiring harness or cut away the original one and match above wires based on color codes.
4. slide in the new cd player (connecting the radio plug)
5. re-install the faceplate

Hope you get an idea!

They are depending on manufacturers. Here is a good place to look up: http://www.carstereohelp.net/
