question about changing oil

hello i have a question for u guys,
is it ok if i over filled oil, like 5-6 qt instead of 4.5 qt??? is it the reason why my car has a lot of smoke?
if so, should i just rechange the oil or should i bring it to the dealer?

It's not good idea to over-filled oil, the oil pressure is not correct causing warning light on (overflowing into other places, changing the ratio of gas+air, etc.).

You can just open the drainage plug a little bit to release oil in small amount and use dip stick to check the correct level. If you're rich, just drain and fill again with 4.5 qts. (that's a strange amount). If you're richer (want to give money away), bring it to the dealer :-)
