How much is the fair price for 30K maintenance service? Does anyone know any honda dealer within 50 miles from OC that is offering discount?
Thanks.
Just maintain your own is the best..... :cigar:
Shouldn't be more than $20.

20 bucks is impossible unless they do nothing.
I don't know exactly how much since I never bring to the dealer but more than 100 bucks is absolutely.

Nam is right. For 30K and DIY:
5 qts. of 5W30 oil-> $8
1 oil filter -> $4
1 gal. of anti-freeze coolant -> $5
transmission oil -> $5
It's about ~$20 if things are on sale. Check other fluid levels, V-belt for noise, etc. That's all for 30K maintenance :-)
Here is a list of the 30 miles on your new accord.... This is what I think because I'm not a mechanic :thumbs: :thumbs:
Oil filter From the dealer > $7 plus a washer 50 cent
Oil from the dealer 5 bottles > More than $10 for sure
Trasmission Fluid < From the Honda Dealer Only > 3 bottles... Read the manual and you will know why :thumbs: :thumbs: AROUND $10
Air Filter = around $20 < change it every 15 miles >
Air element or air cleaner from accord 98 up only = around $20 < change it every 15 miles >
Coolant = around $10
Brake Fluid from Honda = around $10 " incase "
Some parts you can't buy from after market parts....
You can email your local honda and ask them for net price or bring your student card :) :)
Why local shop charge you cheap ?? Because they use wrong oil and after market part... Or they buy the whole containers of oil < Never trust your mechanic, specially vietanmese mechanic >

Are you guys kidding ? Have you guys ever taken your car to dealer for 30K maintenance? The price for the whole package (check all kinds of stuff in your car and such. if I refuse to do it, the parts won't be guarantee.) is $339.
Thanks anyway.

I only took mine in for 1.5K and 7.5K maintenances since they were covered by dealer. Then I've done 15K, 30K, 45K, and 60K at home, just take out the user's manual and follow the steps/parts for each recommended maintenance.
$339 for 30K sure is a "cut throat" :-)

hehehe, If you want to save money, then you have to buy those parts from your local Honda Dealer. then go to your local store and tell them to change it for you...They don't charge you much like Dealer. Honda dealer charge you $65 per hour and more than 4 hours off course. They just hook up your car into one of the car dignostic computer and run it.
Dealer = Stealer. For me, dealer only trick people doesn't shi$t about car or women like you.
If you want some hook up, then let me know. I know one of the guy work in Honda World . He is a mechanic in there, maybe he can give some discount.

Hey Cis, hook me up then. I got that quote for Honda World at Beach @ Trask. I know it's quite expensive that's why I posted question here.
Thanks a zillion.
