You will spend 4, 5 hours at dealer before you can drive the car home, so be prepared. Salemen get paid for their commission monthly, it's wise to go to dealer at the end of month salemen will give you good deal so that they can get paid faster.
Look in www.edmund.com for car Invoice price, not MSRP, and bargain up from there, ignore whatever price dealers put on sticker.
If finance, call banks around your area for lowest interest new car finance and compare with dealer's to make choice.
When you and dealer agree at a deal, try to get more accesories for free such as alarm, spoiler, car mats, mud guards. Dealers always overcharge these small items way way too much that's why not many people buy them, they're sitting duck in the warehouse, dealers usually give them to you to make a deal faster. If dealers do not give the alarm, don't buy from them, you can get a much better alarm from outside shops for much less money.
Ask for discount coupons for maintenance services such as oil change, schedule maintenance.....dealers usually give coupon to customers in the form like your check book. I got $6 oil change coupons up to 100K miles from Toyota.

good tips anh Nam, lúc em mua xe em được free car mats, Z1 package ( Emergency Kits ), free one year of maintence services and road side assistance . Also mí cái đồ đễ clean xe như là car polish, windows cleaner ... blah blah ... and free alarm too .


Also trước khi đi mua xe nhớ check consumer report .

Còn Finance nhớ check toyota.com or any car brand để tìm special financing ... lúc em mua là được special finance cho graduate school student nên được 3 tháng no interest and I payed off my car too. Nghe nói bây giờ họ cho interest thấp lắm ... lúc em mua nó đòi 5.9% đó ... cuz lúc đó là đầu tháng 10 năm 2004 muh em mua xe 2005 , lúc đó không có special finance cho solara but they do have special finance cho camry or 4Runner.

Mướn VL 2 ngàn, VL mướn lại MuaHaTuongTu 1000 rồi nhờ bà bếp đem dao tới ... bảo đảm sẽ có giá rẻ mạt mà VL cũng được lời 1000 bạc :D :p

try carsdirect.com, the price you should get at local dealers should close to it. If they're not matching, then just buy from that carsdirect web site, they will deliver to your home...

Most of big dealer right now has internet department (like Longo Toyota), they will give you a non-negotiable price. If you like it, then contact them for appointment and pick up the car.

BBoi went to Honda dealer, the new 2005 on the sticker is 27,539, after checked out the car and everything, BBoi came to the point to talk about the NUMBER $$, the saleman went to ask his boss, and came back with a paper w/ the price on it, they give BBoi some kind of discount 1,860, and with tax, the final price is $27,328. BBoi asked for $24,500, but they reject, hehehhehee Is that a good price?? hehe

Per anh hpbn advised to check the price at the site edmond.com, the price they quoted exactly like the price on the sticker on the car!!! and the funny thing is, the site asked for the phone number and email, and later, a saleman from my local Honda dealer calls and quote the price. Um..............
