updates on what is going on currently:

1. This morning on my way to work, WTOP ran the news on người Việt mình biểu tình trước tòa Bạch Ốc with Quốc Ca Việt Nam in the backgrounds. They interviewed a young person and he said that all we want is democracy for Vietnam. WTOP also mentioned that Bush said that human rights will be on the agenda when he talks to Khai.

2. My friend is currently at chỗ biểu tình. Số người biểu tình có khoảng 700 - 800 người dự. They did see phái đoàn cộng sản arrived and người Việt mình đã hô những khẩu hiệu to welcome them. :) My friend mentioned that when he saw the Communist flag, and he said "lúc thấy lá cờ đó representing người Việt mà nổi nóng vậy." The energy của người Việt mình tại chỗ biểu tình is high.

They are now waiting for Khai to come out and welcome him again with khẩu hiệu. The meeting between Khai + Bush should be done around noon.
