My parents just bought a 2005 Tacoma (V8, 4 wheel drive) for $28,000.
For your information, the 2005 Tacoma earned the truck of the year title this year. It is a good truck. But considering high gas prices now-a-day, make sure that you have a good reason for buying it, not just the masculant look.

OMG gasoline is still climbing.... people still buying V8 cars. Anyway, my brother bought an '05 Tacoma 4-cylinders w/ CD player, looks pretty simple just 14 grand, i think Toyota Tundra is more expensive.
