i just went to the dealer and test drive the new Accord 06 today and the new 06 Civic Coupe, well i really like both of them but probably will get the accord. since they don't have discount for civic right now. (they're hot)

i try to bargain with the guy for the Accord V4 2006 LX with Leather. for around 21500 that's the lowest he gave me and will not off any more.

i wonder if this is a good price. i am in Houston, Texas.

any comment welcome! thanks.

I heard that you can buy car from cosco.
if you are a cosco member, check out with cosco.
My wife uncle just bought an nissian morano from cosco and he said he save ~$4,000
compare to dealer price.

remember to do your research well; otherwise, you will loose a lot of money.
goodluck with your search.

i think i saw the model on magazine already.. well i would wait but time is up to buy a car. if i am not wrong the new 07 camry will look a lot more sporty.

right now i have a few option to buy, the accord 06, the civic coupe 06, the scion tc.

Accord 06 LX Leather is around 21500
Civic Coupe is 18500 <-- no off!
Scion TC <-- 17500 <-- no off either

going to test drive the Acura RSX this Saturday. i am not interested in the toyota at the moment because of the design wise. gotta wait to see how the 07 look like.

If I buy an Accord 80 (400 Kmiles) for $18000, I save $3000 :xmasred:

There're lots of Honda Dealers. Go shop around and you can always come back to the same guy with that deal. I know those salesmen are mouthful. They talk you out something that you think it's the best deal of all.

So far, 21500 is not a bad deal with options. :smoking:

I'm a first-timer trying to buy an Accord. For the 2006 EX V6 AT 4dr, is 23.4K out the door a good deal?

Also, if I plan to make a down payment of ~ 50% of the total cost, and the pay-off period is 36 months, what should the interest rate be? (I know it depends on the credit score, but please just give me some estimates)

And lastly, is there anything that I should be paying attention to? Thank you.

Incentive là Cash Back, low interest rate hoặc special offer from Manufacture.

Find the car you like, do your research online such as edmunds.com, cardirect.com or just Google it then go from there. there are a lot of incentives, cashback, free maintanence, warranty....

If you find the car you like, wait until next week and you maybe able to get it down another 300-500 dollars. Remember, car dealers are number-driven business. when it's month-end, quarter-end, and year-end period, they will want to move inventory to make their "NUMBERS", they will sell to you with less profits.

Good luck.

i like using kbb.com when i do research for a car, it lists out all the options the car comes with.
for instance you want to get an accord with fog lights and other options, kbb.com will add all the special features you are looking to buy and add that to the total price. that way you have a better idea before coming to the dealer, look at the invoice price (price dealers pay for the car), don't look at the msrp (manufacturers suggested retail price, better known as price dealers want to sell the car for).
kbb.com also has all the special incentives such as rebates listed on their website as well. or you can also go to the manufacturer's website and check for the special offers they are giving out.
also check your local newspaper for dealer ads, on there they will list out all the special programs they are offering, such as low interest rates, cashback, etc.
