I just went to a dealer and they give me a $33K OTD for a 2006 325i Silver with NAV system and heated seat and automatic trans. or $32K for a base model(no options at all) with just auto trans. is this a good buy? I live in the bayarea.

any 2006 325i owner out there?

33k OTD with loaded option seems like a very good deal, hard to beat that. I live in san jose but work in LA and only come home in SJ in the weekend. the price that I got were in LA dealers. but I emailed around the bayarea, they seem to give me an higher price. where do you live?

the thing is that I don't seem to interest in any of the options at all, I don't need those fancy Xenon that costs me 750 bucks more and sure, I will never use the NAV. and they all have leather, but one called "leather" , another is "Leatherette", what is the difference?

Basically, I just one a base model with auto trans. what do you think is a good OTD price for that? are you living in the bayarea too and will buy this car soon? if so, we can shop together.

i will pay extra 1K for all those option, Xeon light is 20% brighter ỏ something, nav 2k, leather 2k

33K OTD??? are you sure man. i went to a beemer dealer a few days ago, and believe me i could not get that type of deal. that is shhhweeet.
i think that's the price before tax and license and everything dude. check with them again. where did you go dude, let me know because im looking to buy a beemer myself.

honestly guy do you just buy the car for the name. or features. i wouldnt for the name. the new 3 are ugly in the back. buy another car and save money. their are better and bigger cars than the 3 series. like the LExus is250 man that cars so hot right now.

I just order my car yesterday at +100 invoice. I know this dealer is losing money on my deal. Maybe I came at the right time where they need to sell more cars to get incentive from the manufacter.

most people don't believe that I got this deal. but i am here smiling every time I think the deal that I got. Save me almost 1000 bucks compare to other dealers.

It's a pretty good deal.

Just be sure that they do not try to stick U somewhere in the back (I've seen lots of dealers doing this).

My best advise for U is:
1) go to credit union
2) look for the ones that run some special finance.
3) get pre-approved
4) say "no" to everything in dealer's finance dept (sometimes I even hear some story that if U say "no" to their offer, they change their mind on the sale price - which is just a scary tactics they use)
