Anyone know about XENON Bulb for H1

Any know about this topic....I have a prelude 2001 and i want to to change the headlight to XENON HID Bulb, but for some reasons the bulb dead within a week...I tried different name but still no luck.....Anyone know how to limit the current or voltage to keep the light last longer.

Also, i am thinking to make a swap from H1 to H4. Do u guys think it possible to get it done????

you are using H1 type bulb for your headlight rite, your problem is weird, you could buy a Xenon HID kit to use your H1 type bulb into Xenon, but the kit cost around $250 to &400, you could change from H1 to H4 but will cost more money for an adaptor,

all xenon and superwhite bulb is just fault advertising bro, don't believe in this, or you will end up kill your battery man, they said this brighter than original one, but both are the same brightest

but why you need your car headlight more brighter,

Vinux,
do U try to make your light looks as good as S2000?

The bulb U got should have at least 1000 hrs of usage. Maybe something shorted it out!
Did U try to put back the original bulb and see if it's ok?

U do need a kid to change from H1 to H4.

Why don't you try the PIAA Superwhite bulbs. This is the closest to HID. IT costs a little higher than the Xenon though but it looks really sweet. I have it on both of my head light and foglight in my 2002 4Runner. and I have it for about a year and still works good. However, it does not work well on wet road though.

wow..
u actually believe that its real xenon HID?

H1 or H4 are actually different types of bulbs which require different types of housings to hold them..
you could try to custom and make it fit..but why would you?

if i were you...id try the sylnannia silverstars
these have shown that they're a lil brighter than most so called "HID xenon" bulbs out there....<PIAA is too expensive for the money...not the closest to HID anyway>

if you really want brighter and true HID...
get a real HID system..
most kits cost about 500 bucks..
but b4 you spend money on it...do a search and see which brand suits your needs best ;)

imo..the phillips kit of 4300k is best for the money..
<do not believe that the higher K is brighter...they emit light..but not visible light thats helpful to your driving>
