Help with Audio Prob.

Okie....

The problem is that could not remove the old audio player out of an Acura Integra 89.....

Any1 owned one and knows how to remove it ?

First, the crew on the ash tray then
those 2 crews on the back of the stock stereo must be taken out !


we should try to remove those ugly crews by using machine or something man, they're really stuck!

Easy

They have two screws right on top of the player
two screws in the lower part (1 in ashtray and 1 on the back of cigarette lighter)

that's what I thought it was . However, it's not !

there's only 2 crews on the bottom back of the stereo. (you have to unscrew the ashtray crews to get to one of the stereo crews )

why don't you go up to the deal ask them a printout that show and locate all screw on you dash of ur car ... usually they will print out for u ...

I did change the radio for this kinda of car before (a while back) .. let me see if I remember them correctly:
1) U need to take out the ash tray
2) take out 1 or 2 screws on the back
3) take out the cig lighter
4) take out the screw on the back
5) take out 2 screws just above radio
6) pull out the radio and the cassette tray holder (they stick together by 4 screws
7) unplug antenna and two wire plugs
8) take out the 4 screws to separate the radio and holder

Just reverse the steps when putting it back!
