this sounds like a psychological or financial (not technical) question to me ... hehe

U should NOT but an exp veh if:
1) U make (yearly salary) less than the car's price tag
2) U make about the same or little more than the car's price tag but U have tons of bills to pay. Little rule of thumb: deduct ALL your monthly bills, your money left over should be at least 2 times the car payment.
3) If U're worry about gas costs too much (believe it or not, I've known someone driving 911 and complaining about gas mileage ), don't buy sport car (like 911S), they drink gas more than U drink water!
4) Maintenance can be very costly - I'm just talking about maintenance, not even repair. Guys with high-maintenant girls know what I'm talking about


These are the things just popped out of my head. There can be few more things that apply.

Personally, I like to drive an expensive, sport car. But I don't like the idea of put all the money in the car like most people I know in Cali (I believe I did talk about this)!

I agree. If you can afford a 911 or GT2 then who cares about gas prices. However, I heard that it cost about 2.00 bucks/gal for Premium grade in CA.

I'm not sure how much it is now, maybe $3/gal (Tammy should know the correct answer). But in Cali gas is like gold there

Arco and thirfty are the cheapest one less than shell and other about 10 or 15 cent...
