how long u think it will take me to change my VC joint??? my car is a Toyota Camry 96 V4 Le suden can you walk me step by step?? or the step will be similar to Pika's. prob.???? the noise is getting louder when i make a left and right turn.... i'll bring it to the shop 2day to see if that's a problem but iam sure it is cuz it sound like Pika's problem when he post the "VC joint replacement" my friend he said that last time the he bring his car to the shop with same problem it cost him 190$ w/ tax and part.....

I cannot tell U exactly how long it takes U to change your CV joints.
It sounds to me that U need to change both sides.
If U never did it b4, it will take U longer time.
'96 Camry has similar suspension as Pika's Accord so U can follow his steps there.
The brake caliper is little diff to take out but it should be no big deal.
I changed the CV joints for '93 Camry (same as '96) but a while ago so I forgot the exact details. It took me about 1-2 hrs and the parts was $100 for both Cv axles.
U should have another person help U doing this and U should have a big hammer and a big fork (cây chỉa hai) which U can buy or borrow from Autozone.

wow...thank you Pika and Coldwind very much for your help.....thank you Pika for the site....that is very very good...i brought it to the shop for the price estimate and they said that 350$ to change everything including the axle........hehehe....i dont have that kind of money...heheh...i wil definitely do it this weekend...hehhe....

whenever u change the CV joint, change the whole assembly!

1. Nếu bạn đi hỏi mua chỉ CVjoint không thui, đa phần không chỗ náo bán hết. Nếu ra Dealer : CVjoint $230, Axle assembly $210 !

2. Pika thử lấy cái CVjoint ra, nhưng đập hoài nó hông ra. Thui thay the whole axle assembly là chắc ăn nhất

so the whole assembly is about 230??? my car is Camry 96 V4 Le Suden....cuz last friday i brought it to the shop for the estamate and the guy there said 350$.....i think that is alittle bit too much dont you think???

if U get it aftermarket parts from Autopart store like Autozone, it costs U around 50 bucks each side.

It's a $100 problem for both side
